Blogspot Super-Threads: Defending Indie Authors, A Graphic Novel Storyboard, and so much more!

Hello, everyone!

Goodreads Author H.R. Eberle, reporting in, after a rather unpredictably-long hiatus from writing and posting blog-entries, like this one, here, and my last entry from April, I am here to gladly announce the slow, but steady continuation of Sky Fighters Novel Part VIII!! But, before I get into the finer details of how I, and my chief editor and proofreader are going about preparing it for publishing, I'd like to bring up a few other things which I have been doing and learning...

First of all, I am not only a writer, who has been trying to find his niche in the wild world of awesome authors; I am also an avid reader of other authors' works! One of the latest authors, whose words I had been preparing to read are those of Miss Dagmar Rokita. Dagmar, like me, is a certified Goodreads Author. And also like me, appears to be a self-published author. Dagmar is currently working on a dark sci-fi series called "Bloodstained Skies". And, she has cordially invited me to begin reading it! I am thoroughly excited, and have already found out what "Bloodstained Skies" is going to be about! Here is my personal review of one of her latest published works: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/5796393514

In this review, I also found out which there are at least a couple handfuls of people, who just aren't fond of Indie Authors, like Miss Dagmar and I. But, we don't yet understand why. All I know is the fact which Dagmar has done a fine job in the making of her stories. Click on the above link if you're interested in finding out all the details on what great literature Indie Authors can offer to all of us.

Right! I think I've spoken a lot about Indie Authors for now. Let's move onto something better and brighter! How about my decision to adapt all of my novels (Apart from the short stories I wrote) into hardcover format? Is this one more format you'd like to see the series in?

And if this isn't quite enough to put a slight smile on your faces, then please allow me to showcase how the Sky Fighters and Houndy Crunchers novel series might appear as...A graphic novel series! Yesh, this is right, audience! Thanks to Bing chat in no small part, I was finally able to adapt a very tiny portion of one chapter within a previously-published novel from the series into a graphic novel series' page!

With Bing chat's permission, I will showcase what might be the best possible artwork of the Sky Fighters and Houndy Crunchers novels to date!

This 1st image is more of a trial-run of Bing chat's capability to create an image befitting of my written descriptions.

In this picture, you can see what could be the self-inserted protagonist form of me, age ~18, and, Gregoroth Rushenido, age ~17, who is the 2nd main protagonist. Rehn already grew a pair of wings, as he is one year older than Gregoroth. However, this image is not perfect, because Rehn is being depicted with blonde hair, and possibly blue eyes, whereas I and my self-insert both have dark brown/black hair and brown eyes. Conversely, Gregoroth is depicted as having medium-brown hair, but as I said right above, Gregoroth is the one whose hair should be blonde. The dragon-like monster looming above the two Sky Fighters could be the living-snake tail of a Python Demon, ready to strike!

Overall, this is quite good for an AI's first attempt at creating a potential illustration, based on somebody else's literature! However, the next series of images just might be a run for your money...!

In this above quartet of images, a Fire Elemental by the name of Rimshot flees after he is attacked by a gang of mysterious, but hostile robotic drones. Lucky for him, a group of Sky Fighters rushes over to his location to destroy the machines and save him. If the image is too small to see, try clicking on it in order to "embiggen" it. If even this doesn't work, then this is another flaw of Bing chat's capability to create a potential image for the graphic novel series I can currently only dream of being produced by a trusted friend or source. There are likely an additional number of mistakes contained in the four images above. But since this is only a trial-run for a Sky Fighters and Houndy Crunchers graphic novel series, I won't bother to dwell on them.

For the time being, I would like to announce which production of the 8th novel is now back in full-time swing! And so long as I can maintain my connection to the Internet, my editor-in-chief will be able to continue helping me to proofread every chapter, and ultimately prepare the novel for its final draft, copyrighting, and following publication. The estimated release date? Spring of 2024!!*

*Official release date could be later or earlier than initially anticipated, pending schedule, unpredicted life events, and such.

And once this novel has been published, ALL of the Sky Fighters novellas and full length novels will finally be adapted into a hardcover-format! Plus, provided enough people show an interest in the series and have a desire to further aid it's cause, there just might be another shot at a fully-developed Sky Fighters and Houndy Crunchers Wikia, on Fandom! And even if there isn't going to be a Sky Fighters and Houndy Crunchers Wikia, we still have a chance to showcase one of the weapons which appeared within the series! And it doesn't strictly have to be a Needle Staff, either. It can be a set of armor, a Waypoint Spear, or even one of the Signature Weapons!!

The possibilities of what can be accomplished are nearly endless! And with several all-new characters appearing in Sky Fighters Part VIII, - including a number of SEA-Guardian-Sky Fighters! - any one of them could be chosen to have a real world 🗺 form of their Signature Weapon created and showcased!!
